I joined deviantArt nearly three years ago when I had some health issues and was looking for distraction. Inspired by the great art I tried to draw myself and enjoyed to have found a way to express my emotions, Half a year later I got myself a tablet and drew regulary. My skills still sucks but I am trying to improve and I made some really awesome friends here. Love you guys <3
All Out has teamed up with ILGA and The Guardian, who's just released an amazing infographic that shows more than 2.7 billion people live in countries where being gay is a crime – and a full rundown of laws that impact the lives of lesbian, gay, bi and trans people. See how your country stacks up here: www.theguardian.com/world/ng-i… check it out, it's interesting and... well a bit depressing
I just heard that Google has an app in their stores that tries to 'cure' people of being gay – even though it's not a disease.
There's overwhelming evidence that attempts to 'pray away the gay' can be downright dangerous.
Apple just pulled the app from its store for violating its developer policies.
And, Google has yanked some for violating user agreements, which also bans hate speech. They shouldn't be making it easier for anti-gay groups to distribute their dangerous lies or hate in this case either.
I just signed the petition to ask them to drop this app immediately. If enough of us join in they'll feel the pressure to act swiftly, before anyone else can get hurt.
